Terms and conditions

Session Details:

• Duration: 50 minutes, £55 per session, payable on the day.
• Initial Assessment: Required, charged at £55.
• Late Payment: Payments over 36 hours late incur a £10 fee.
• Fee Changes: Advance notice will be provided.

Cancellations:

• 48-hour notice required.
• Missed appointments must be paid in full before further sessions.

Confidentiality:

• Sessions and records are confidential per GDPR 2018.
• Exceptions include client requests, risk of harm, or legal requirements.
• Anonymised information may be shared during professional supervision.

Client Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time; sessions held for 15 minutes if late.
• Active participation encouraged for best outcomes.

Therapist Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional boundaries.
• Commit to ongoing professional development.

Data Protection:

• Right to access and correct records.
• Secure storage of records, retained for seven years.

Termination:

• Either party can terminate anytime; discussion recommended for proper closure.

Complaints:

• Handled according to the BACP's Ethical Framework (www.bacp.co.uk).
