I believe that openness and clarity are essential in building a strong therapeutic relationship. These terms are here to ensure you understand how I work, what you can expect from me and what I will ask of you in return.

By setting out practical details in advance, we create a foundation of trust and mutual respect. If anything is unclear, please ask so we can discuss it together.

Key terms

• Sessions are 50 minutes.
• The fee is £60 per session.
• 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
• Sessions are confidential in line with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and Mallinder Counselling data-protection policies. Confidentiality may only be broken if you request it, there is a risk of harm or disclosure is required by law.

Professional standards

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), registration number 399965, and follow its Ethical Framework.
